CIBER-OLÉ is an initiative within the National Cybersecurity Industry Promotion Program, aimed at addressing key aspects for the growth and development of new companies in the sector. It is part of the INCIBE Emprende program, through which the University of Salamanca will develop the initiative with the goal of promoting entrepreneurial ventures in cybersecurity. The common objective is to integrate entrepreneurs into Spain’s digital economy and society, by providing material and/or human resources to achieve this in a joint and coordinated manner.
As well as the interaction between them (territorial and social cohesion) with an emphasis on Access to Investment and Clients for
innovative freelancers/startups/SMEs. To this end, 16 talks will be held within the framework of CIBER-OLÉ sessions (conferences and forums). Each talk will be attended by 15 people, connecting freelancers, startups, innovative SMEs, scaleups during the project with corporations/ investors/ universities/ associations and/or confederations of entrepreneurs/ public purchasing teams/ media/, etc. throughout the CIBER-OLÉ project.
Connecting innovative freelancers/startups/SMEs in the Rural-Agro-tech sector with investors, corporations, media, accelerators, public administrations, universities, local action groups, etc. by carrying out activities specific to the rural-tech sector during regional events and at international fairs.
CIBER-OLÉ will continuously promote the participation of women and of self-employed women/startups or investment funds/networks led by women, or with a majority participation of women, so that they have an active participation in CIBER-OLÉ sessions, international fairs, holding 8 workshops aimed at women entrepreneurs/investors and 2-3 advocacy and awareness campaigns on networks and the media to reduce the gender gap.
Strengthening Spain’s strategy as a leading Entrepreneurial Nation in the field of CYBERSECURITY, supporting the organization of International Technological Entrepreneurship events within the framework of major events such as STARTUP OLÉ, ENISE, etc., connecting Spanish, European and international entrepreneurs/startups in the field of Cybersecurity with relevant European and international actors throughout the project.
INCIBE’s cybersecurity entrepreneurship promotion initiatives are aimed at entrepreneurs and start-ups with innovative cybersecurity ideas and projects in the business idea generation, incubation, acceleration and express acceleration phases.
All of them are included in the Program to Promote the National Cybersecurity Industry, especially contributing to the key aspect of the industry: Promoting the national cybersecurity industry for the emergence, growth and development of companies in this sector. This program, which will be executed under the auspices of INCIBE Emprende, is included in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) through Component 15. Investment 7 Cybersecurity: Strengthening the capacities of citizens, SMEs and professionals and promoting the sector.
In addition, the generation of a seal is planned for INCIBE Emprende participants linked to the Program to Promote the National Cybersecurity Industry to guarantee alignment with the description contained in the “further specification” column of the OA of milestone 245 of the PRTR.
